Welcome to Chaminade College Preparatory!

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in Chaminade College Preparatory! Since 1952, our school has been inspiring young people to love, learn, and lead through our Catholic and Marianist traditions of a living faith, academic excellence, and moral responsibility.

With over 12,000 Eagle alumni across the country and around the world, Chaminade graduates are prepared, inspired, and equipped to share God’s love by caring for others and seeking justice and peace. Our students learn, adapt, and grow with the world around them to become servant leaders and positive contributors to society.

Chaminade is one school with two campuses. The middle school (grades 6-8) is based in Chatsworth, with the high school (grades 9-12) located in West Hills. As you browse our website, I hope you get a sense of our beautiful campuses, as well as an understanding of our rich faith, academic, arts, athletic, and extracurricular offerings. However, because the best thing about Chaminade is our people, I invite you to schedule a visit to truly experience our family spirit.

Now is an exciting time to be a member of the Chaminade family. In 2017 we unveiled the Loving, Learning, and Leading Together strategic plan, which took on greater meaning in 2018 when we acquired a nearly five-acre property across from our West Hills campus. A master plan process then helped us think boldly about the future for this parcel and our campuses. As a result, we launched the “Soaring to New Heights” capital campaign in the fall of 2022 to coincide with Chaminade’s 70th anniversary. With the support and generosity of the Chaminade community, we surpassed the campaign goal in spring 2023 and are now working to transform spaces on both campuses where our students pray, learn, and play.

We look forward to helping you learn more about our community. We believe Chaminade is more than just a school. Filled with family spirit, it is a home away from home. I hope you consider joining us at Chaminade, and I pray that God guides your family in this decision.

God bless,
